Terms of Service

By accessing or using AnieLab ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Platform.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password and credentials associated with your account. You must not share your account credentials with any third party. You must notify AnieLab immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. AnieLab is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You may register via email/password or using a passkey. You may also enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional security.

You retain ownership of any content, files, assets, and materials ("Content") you upload, submit, or display on the Platform. By uploading Content, you grant AnieLab a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the necessary rights to your Content; (b) your Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party; and (c) your Content complies with applicable laws and regulations.

AnieLab reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove any Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

The Platform enables users to create and collaborate on anime production projects. Project owners have the ability to manage team members, assign roles, and control access to project assets. By joining a project team, you agree to:

• Respect the intellectual property of the project and its members
• Not share confidential project materials outside the team without permission
• Adhere to the project's designated roles and responsibilities
• Comply with any additional agreements established by the project owner

AnieLab is not responsible for disputes between project members. Project owners are encouraged to establish clear contribution and credit agreements.

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Use the Platform for any unauthorized commercial purpose
• Collect or harvest user information without consent

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

The AnieLab name, logo, design, and platform code are proprietary. The Platform's visual interfaces, graphics, design, compilation, information, data, and computer code are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The "AnieLab" name and logo are trademarks of AnieLab. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to our collection and use of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Platform may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google OAuth, Brevo for email, Backblaze B2 for storage). AnieLab is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party services. Your use of integrated services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

AnieLab may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time via the Settings page. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Platform immediately ceases
• We will permanently delete your account data after a 30-day grace period
• Content you contributed to shared projects may remain accessible to other team members

We are not liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANIELAB DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

ANIELAB DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE; (B) DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; (C) THE PLATFORM IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; OR (D) THE RESULTS OF USING THE PLATFORM WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANIELAB BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM
• ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM
• UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA
• STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE PLATFORM

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AnieLab, its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your Content or any activity on the Platform under your account

AnieLab reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Platform and delete your account.

The most current version of these Terms will always be available on this page.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
